E Tipu and AGMARDT continue partnership to drive innovation in NZ’s food and fibre sectors

Key points:

  • AGMARDT and E Tipu continue their exclusive Foundation Partnership, leveraging the event to support industry transformation.

  • E Tipu makes its Manawatū debut in 2024, bringing crucial discussions shaping the industry’s future to the region.

In a strategic move aimed at elevating the impact of E Tipu: The Boma Agri Summit, the Agricultural and Marketing Research and Development Trust (AGMARDT) joins as Foundation Partner for a second year.

E Tipu is a food and fibre event that sets out to amplify the exchange of bold, innovative ideas and tangible next steps for primary industry leaders. AGMARDT is a not-for-profit organisation that strategically invests in initiatives that encourage creative thinking, research capability, and collaboration, with a clear focus of igniting a better future for food and fibre in Aotearoa New Zealand.

AGMARDT has been a supporter of E Tipu since the summit’s inception in 2019. In 2023, the two purpose-driven entities formalised a two-year partnership, with AGMARDT coming on board as the summit’s exclusive Foundation Partner. Last year’s summit brought together 57 speakers, 60 partners, and 840 primary sector leaders and changemakers from across the food and fibre sector and around the world.

E Tipu and AGMARDT share a strong alignment in purpose and strategy, from championing initiatives that encourage innovative thinking, research and collaboration to empowering emerging leaders within New Zealand’s primary sector.

Both are deliberate in their efforts to involve farmers and growers in the conversation, exemplified by E Tipu’s offering of a 50% discount on tickets for farmers.

This year, E Tipu makes its Manawatū debut on 18-19 June. Bolstered by AGMARDT’s backing, the 2024 summit promises to cultivate a rich environment for learning, galvanising and connecting the food and fibre system in New Zealand and around the world. Attendees can look forward to powerful talks, expert panels, and action-oriented workshops.

E Tipu 2024 is powered by Boma in collaboration with destination partner Central Economic Development Agency (CEDA), with support from Foundation Partner AGMARDT, Exclusive Media Partner NZME, and Official Radio Partner and Sponsor The Country.
